Students take turns answering questions, claiming spaces, and racing to connect four in a row, just like the classic game, but designed for the classroom. How It Works:
Students start on the main game grid, beginning in the lowest open row, just like dropping a piece in a traditional four-in-a-row game. Only the bottom row is clickable at first, and as students answer correctly, more spaces above become available to play.
When students click on a spot that says “Click Here,” they’ll be taken to their question. After typing their answer, the cell will automatically turn green for correct or red for incorrect. Once they answer, they’ll select their color (or game piece of choice) to claim that spot.
Play continues with partners or teams alternating turns, stacking their pieces, and competing to connect four (or however many you choose!) horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. It’s engaging, visual, and completely self-checking, making it perfect for centers, partner activities, or review days.
